Making art has always given me a sense of liberation and that is what motivates me to keep going. It gives me the freedom to choose my own projects, freedom to explore themes that excite me, freedom to discover the unknown, freedom to express myself and to create my own world. It gives me the kind of freedom I do not always have in my day to day life but is needed in order to keep my inner peace.
I have found conceptual photography to be the best form for my expression. Personal experiences influence the ideas in my works and the visuals are inspired by music, poetry, old family photos or random everyday moments. The conceptual photographic series explore being human and express my emotions like grief, stillness, frustration, being lost, etc.
My art is a visual diary. It is a self exploration not only as an artist, but as a human.
